Grover's Mill - NJ

West Windsor, New Jersey: War of the Worlds Coffee ShopThe Grover's Mill Coffee House displays paintings by artist Robert Hummel of the imaginary Martian attack on nearby Grover's Mill, plus some artifacts from the War of the Worlds movies.

Model of Martian tripod craft. Grover's Mill Coffee Company

Coffee shop close to where Martians landed (according to the Orson Welles "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast of Halloween 1938). Has on display newspaper clippings and pictures from 1938, and multiple movie artifacts from the 1953 movie "War of the Worlds." Many are signed by Ann Robinson, who was the co-star of the movie. My favorites are a mural painted for the shop that shows the water tower after it was shot by locals (who mistook it for a Martian), and models of the 1938 and 1951 Martian war machines.
