Real "Michael Myers" house in Halloween
Historical Significance: The house was originally abandoned when John Carpenter used it as a location in his low-budget slasher pioneer. The house was located at 707 Meridian Avenue at the time of filming, and was later renovated and moved across the street. It was re-purposed as a chiropractor's office before becoming a hub for multiple local businesses, which use the various rooms for their offices. The house now stands at 1000 Mission Street. Because of its film history significance, the house was named as a local landmark.
